TOURIST PLACES IN AFGHANISTAN
Tourism in Afghanistan is mostly visit temples and historic sites in the country. For example:
Museum of Islamic
Art: This museum is located at Ghazi,
has many collections and exhibits representing the
country, the collections change every three months.
National
Museum of Kabul: This museum contains
many collections, but only archeology
El Mirate de Jam: Located 500 km
from the capital, the minaret of Jam, a building 65
m high is the second largest religious monument of its kind in
the world. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2002
The Buddhas of Bamiyan: These were two
monumental statues built between
s. III and
V. They were completely
destroyed by the Taliban.

In spite of the wars in Afghanistan and internally various travel agencies selling different conflicts still tours to this country.
Usually tourists visit secure areas of Afghanistan and could hardly hear a shot or a bomb.
Some of the most visited tourist sites in Afghanistan are:
In Kabul, Afghanistan's capital are:
KABUL MUSEUM: It is a small museum, there you can find a large collection of photographs and artifacts. The tour lasts about 3 hours. People who have visited the museum says people who work there are very friendly.
DARUL AMAN PALACE: A European-style palace which was which was built in 1920 near Kabul. It hosted the Minister of Defense and was later destroyed in 1978. Today there have been several projects to rebuild it, but I have not. This site serves as a shelter destroyed for some people during the winter.
BABUR TOMB: An Historical Park, renowned for being the resting place of Emperor Babur.
